To clean your Latch products, it is recommended that you use either a solution of warm water and dish soap or 70% Isopropyl Alcohol (IPA). Either should be applied with a microfiber cloth and then finished with a damp microfiber cloth.
It is important that no strong solvent (e.g. acetone) or abrasives (e.g. scouring pad, steel wool, etc.) be used to remove dirt, paint, or other blemishes.
When flipping units or during construction, it is recommended to use painter's tape around the outline of the lock and to remove it within the time specified by the manufacturer.
