Latch Water Sensor Resident Troubleshooting

The water sensor or light setting indicates that the device is offline.

  1. The property manager has been notified and there is no further action needed. While the device is offline, any leaks in the unit will not be detected and the lights will not be able to be controlled.


I attempted to turn off a light and the app indicates that the “operation failed.”

  1. To re-attempt controlling the lights, pull down on the screen while viewing the light control to refresh the status, then retry.


There’s a “Low Battery Alert” on the water sensor.

  1. Your property manager has been notified to take action. Your property manager will be able to replace the unit’s CR2 battery.
